This week’s Gran Turismo 7 Daily Races feature tuned street cars on the Tokyo Expressway, Gr.4s at Maggiore and Gr.3s at Spa-Francorchamps.
Starting May 30th, Race A performance will no longer affect players’ Driver Rating (DR) and Sportsmanship Rating (SR). So you can ride as hard as you like.

This week’s top Gr.3 and Gr.4 cars are exactly the same as last week’s, bringing another scrutiny to Polyphony Digital’s handling of Balance of Performance (BoP) in GT7.
However, there is a surprising selection for Race A, where power and weight must be kept under 345hp and over 1,000kg respectively.
BREED A

Players can tune their favorite street car in Race A and adjust the setup if needed. The venue is the East Clockwise layout of the Tokyo Expressway. So what the track lacks in character it more than makes up for in terms of top speed.
With the requirements being a maximum power of 345 hp and a minimum weight of 1,000 kg, there is no shortage of vehicle options. However, the Ferrari F40 turns out to be the best option for Race A – only disappointed by its massive price tag of 1,350,000 credits at the Legend Cars dealer.
Nevertheless, the Ferrari is still a sensational car today, as it was first built in 1987. The F40, which was the last Ferrari sanctioned by legendary founder Enzo, was capable of speeds in excess of 2000 mph with its twin-turbo V8 engine. It was a real beast to drive. Respect.
Despite featuring a spartan interior, the car focused on the driving experience and was a popular road car among many racers of the time – including Nigel Mansell.
The GT7 version needs some detuning to meet Race A specifications, so all the usual tuning options should be bought with a power limiter and ballast as usual to achieve the goals.

breed B

The Gr.4 battle of Race B brings us back to the West layout of Italy’s fictional Autodromo Lago Maggiore. The curves and twists and turns of this ribbon of tarmac near Lake Maggiore are ideal for a four-wheel drive car – especially as there are many late apexes to hit.
So our car of choice is (again) the 1993 Alfa Romeo 155 V6 TI.
The car dominates in the real DTM championship and has become the de facto first choice for Gr.4 racing in GT7. It looks great, it sounds great and it’s fast. We can’t say much more after all these months!
Race B uses the Mid-Speed (M) Balance of Performance (BoP) format.

breed c

Race C takes place at Spa-Francorchamps, deep in the Belgian Ardennes. Just like last week, the Nissan Skyline Super Silhouette will be the car of choice at this Gr.3 race, although its price tag of 1,150,000 credits may put some GT7 players off.
However, to save some cash, you can at least try the super-rare Nissan thanks to GT7’s rental feature, which launched on April 25, 2022.
With 1x fuel economy and 7x tire wear, this race will be all about tire care, using both medium and soft compounds. Short stint on softs at the start to build a lead, or run longer on mediums and end up using your superior pace? The decision is yours!
Race C uses the High-Speed (H) BoP format.

Lap time challenge

The current lap time challenge presents the Nissan R34 GT-R V-Spec II Nür ’02 in Interlagos, Brazil. Do well here and you could walk away with 2,000,000 credits. Kind.
A new lap time challenge will be available on November 24th at 9:00 GMT.
