Nanny Pat cameo (2019)
A gem from November 2019 – Leitrim’s eight year old Tom Cullen and his Nanny Pat. Tom told Ryan about Nanny Pat’s dinner, her knitting and of course the talks. He even revealed he had a personalized jigsaw puzzle from her! So what better show toys a pleasure to bring Pat onto the show as a surprise guest as nanny? We all wanted a hug from her too!

When Cork native Adam King, then six years old, held up a virtual hug sign during the 2020 show, it captured the hearts of a whole nation after a long and difficult year. Adam, who has brittle bones, inspired viewers with his plans to work at NASA; his confidence and zest for life were already out of this world.
