Emmerdale Screenwriter Sharon Marshall has cleared up some fans’ confusion over Cain Dingle’s long-lost brother.
This weekend (November 26th) Emmerdale announced the Waterloo Street Star Will Ash will join the cast as Cain Dingle’s brother Caleb, but fans have been confused as to who his parents were.
Clear up the confusion This morningMarshall said, “Caleb Milligan is Cain and Chas’ long lost brother. So Faith had another child, people were asking who the mother was.”

Cain has questions for Caleb, who arrives on Christmas Day, exacerbating tensions between Cain, who has been keeping his brother a secret, and his sister Chas.
“Cain knew about him but kept it a secret. He has a lot of questions he wants answered,” Marshall revealed.
“The big actions over Christmas have enormous consequences. Caleb will be massive,” she added.
Emmerdale Commenting on the news, producer Laura Shaw said: “We are delighted to welcome Will Ash to the village. It’s fantastic to have such a high caliber and immensely talented actor on our wonderful team.

Ash is best known for playing Christopher Mead, the assistant principal and science teacher Waterloo Street.
