Upon getting wind of Samson’s actions, Sam confronted his son and told him about the sacrifices he made for his late wife, but Samson remained unmoved and bit back, saying he didn’t want to be anything like his father.

In episodes airing next week, Samson begins to understand the gravity of the situation as he is being ostracized for his refusal to become a father.

He feels betrayed when he sees Lydia, Dan, Sam and Amelia with Esther at the coffee shop, where Lydia showers the baby with presents and lets everyone know that the baby is part of their family whether Samson agrees or not.
