Emmerdale spoilers to follow.
Emmerdale‘s Cain Dingle made another heartbreaking decision in tonight’s hour-long episode (November 29) when Sam visits him in prison.
Cain is currently in prison as he takes the blame for his son Kyle shooting Al Chapman, something few people (except Sam) know about.
In the visitors’ room, the two chatted about how everyone was doing and the possibility of a reduced sentence, with Cain admitting he struggled with the thought of 20 years in prison.

“It’s hard, Sam. In here,” he said. “To answer your question honestly. When you got things on the outside These guys, Sarah, not many times in my life when people have needed me… We both know that when I go out, I’ll visit daddy’s grave.”
When visiting hours were up, Cain told Sam not to come back: “It’s not personal and it’s not you. I just can’t do this when I think about everything else out there. Sam, this is killing me. Listen, I’m best off alone. I am fine. Say goodbye to Dad.”
Will he be fine isolating himself from his family, or will he change his mind?

Elsewhere in tonight’s episode, Bernice Blackstock worried she might have dementia and lashed out at Bear Wolf, while Victoria Sugden told David Metcalfe she didn’t think he would make a good father.
Vanessa Woodfield also accused Suzy Merton and Leyla Harding of going back to drugs and it looks like their relationship is over.
Emmerdale usually airs weekdays at 19:30 on ITV1 and streams on ITVX. Episodes will be streamed prior to airing due to football-related schedule changes.
