Emmerdale spoilers to follow.
Tonight’s episode (Nov. 18) of Emmerdale saw Kerry Wyatt decide to leave the village after discovering her late partner Al Chapman’s affair.
Kerry, still shaken by the news, visited The Woolpack to drown her sorrows and revealed her discovery of Al’s infidelity to a shocked Chas.
While Chas was relieved that Kerry didn’t know she was the one sleeping with Al, she was forced to listen when heartbroken Kerry vented her feelings.

Concerned that Kerry might want revenge, Chas implored her to do something more positive and suggested she take some time away from the village.
“I would go and mourn everything, I would take it and come out stronger than ever,” she said. Her words led to Kerry making a big decision — she would take the advice and get a job on her friend’s cruise ship.
Back home, a relieved Chas continued to encourage Kerry to seize the opportunity. However, the pair were overheard by Chloe, who was shocked to discover Kerry’s plans.
Heartbroken Chloe asked Kerry not to leave her, but Kerry insisted it was the best option for her future.
“That way I can pull myself together and come back better and I know you know it makes sense because you’ve stopped arguing,” she insisted, promising to be back for the birth of Chloe’s baby.

Kerry decided to leave the village that same afternoon, promising Chloe and Amelia she would be back before they knew it.
Chas watched, relieved that she didn’t have to face the consequences of her affair with Al. Her relief was short-lived, however, when Chloe asked her to keep her ears peeled at The Woolpack for rumors about who she’d slept with Al, who vows to get revenge for Kerry.
“She’s going to wish Kerry was taking care of her and not me,” Chloe warned
