“There are massive accidents happening on the farm that could draw the attention of one character or another.”

Along with “some stunts in the woods,” Tim hinted that there’s a lot more to come.

He added: “There is a massive issue in the village that will affect two of the other characters. Also, there are some stunts in the forest nearby.

“And of course there is a wedding. When you mix it all up, it becomes sensational.’

Creepy scenes have already shown Kim Tate (Claire King) surviving after falling off her horse and hitting her head on a rock, while Monday’s episode saw Sam Dingle (James Hooton) on the spikes of a backhoe was gored after being caught in a cattle stampede.

Characters getting killed won’t be the only drama this week, and Tim also promises big changes for the village itself.

He added: “Viewers will be in for a few surprises. You will see parts of the village destroyed.’

And Nicola Wheeler – who stars as Nicola King – admitted the cast had a tough time on set, using powerful wind machines that conjured up 130 mph gusts that actually flipped cards and destroyed buildings.

“They turned them on 100 percent, and you literally can’t run against them,” she said.

Katherine recently reflected on her character’s death on the soap, saying, “I don’t think it’s going to affect me that I’m not going back,” as she prepares to say goodbye to the soap after nearly 10 years.

Katherine explained what it was like filming the death scenes: “I got very emotional reading it. On the actual day I was covered in blood and various pieces of forest were hanging from my hair. We had these industrial wind machines that literally blow sand and debris in your eyes.

“So when it came down to it, it wasn’t that emotional because the technique of what you have to do takes away the emotion so I managed to get through the day without sobs. ‘

“While death wasn’t my last scene, on my last day I received flowers and nice gifts and messages. I don’t think it’s going to hit me that I won’t be returning for a few weeks because it feels like I’m on a hiatus, but it’s slowly starting to hit me.
