Katherine Ryan has revealed she’s ‘very good at having babies’ after giving birth to her son within 9 minutes of arriving at the hospital – adding she ‘would love to be a midwife one day’ .
The pregnant comedian, 39, appeared on The Jonathan Ross Show this week to talk about her book The Audacity and her latest project, the Sky Show Romantic Getaway starring Romesh Ranganathan. The conversation revolved around her ever-growing baby bump

“For my son Fred who is now 17 months old we booked into this fancy hospital in London where Princess Diana had her babies, where Kate Middleton had her babies, where Meghan Markle could have had her babies but her didn’t do it…
She was busy and booked 15 privacy interviews that day. I really like her.
“We were only 9 minutes in the hospital. So I might as well have it at home.
“My husband isn’t quite on board, he’s a bit squeamish. I said to him: ‘I can explain it to you, everything will be fine.’
She added that she has a midwife – and would love to be one “in another life” because she respects her hard work.

“I have a midwife,” she said to Jonathan. “This baby is coming soon, it’s getting cold, I don’t know if it’s going to snow. If someone gets stuck in traffic, I’m willing to do it myself, Jonathan.
“I would like to be a midwife in another life. I respect them so much, nurses, midwives. If I’m ever smart enough in my retirement, I want to be at least a doula.’
The blonde beauty wore a striking shimmering black and silver striped dress with a tassel effect.
Strands of the shimmering number hung from the thigh-length of the dress to glide across the floor, which paired perfectly with her black block-heeled mule sandals and gave her body some height.

The 39-year-old wore her warm blonde braids in a bouncy, tight curl style and it had plenty of volume to set it apart for her night on Jonathan Ross’ sofa.
She wore a full face of makeup for the occasion and seemed delighted to be discussing her latest projects ahead of the birth of her third child.
Speaking of her Sky show Romantic Getaway, written by Ranganathan, comedian Rome, Katherine said: “It’s like a Bonnie and Clyde heist comedy where he and I are married but we can’t have kids and we can’t afford IVF .
“So we decide to rob his boss. But it actually snowballs and we commit a crime and then many more crimes.’

“I think people feel that too much with me is too much. But that could be a cultural misunderstanding for me.
“I’m very nice, but I’m direct. I’m not beating around the bush. I live my life in wonder and gratitude, but also in ruthless devotion.”
Of growing up in Canada, she said, “I had orthodontics, my jaw was pushed out, I had a huge gap between my teeth… That was back when bullying was cool. So I had a tough time, but it was very formative.’
She later added, “I think I was definitely more of a humanitarian when I was younger.
“I think we all get to that point of maturity where you say, ‘I want everyone to love me and I want to make people happy,’ but at the end of the day I’m not responsible if they don’t.” do ‘t ‘t.’
“My mom said, ‘If we all liked the same thing, we’d all be married to your dad.’
It comes after the TV personality admitted she learned she was expecting after trying it for the first time while still breastfeeding her son Fred, who she welcomed 13 months ago.
It is her second child with her partner of three years, Bobby.

Katherine shared her pregnancy news on her podcast, but stayed tuned to see how far along she was.
She said: “I’m pregnant, I’ve been pregnant for a while and that’s how I did it. I got pregnant while breastfeeding for the first time and to be honest I don’t think it will work because I’m 39 – I would have been 38 when I got pregnant.
“And I thought, ‘We’ve got to get the kids out of the way.’ You never know how long you have and I love my kids. I just thought, “Well, let’s do it.”
On her show, she said, “You should never tell people your due date. If you never tell them, they can never bother you at this time.”
