A 10-year-old boy has shocked thousands after noticing a hidden symbol on Toblerone chocolate bar packaging that most people have never seen before.
His mother revealed the boy spotted a “secret bear” in the image of the Swiss mountains to the left of the word Toblerone.
“My son got his first Toblerone today. “What’s the bear for?” Me: “What bear?” the woman named Stephanie posted online.
A mum revealed the moment her 10-year-old son spotted a hidden symbol on Toblerone packaging – a bear in the Swiss mountains (package pictured).
“I was years old today when I found out there was a bear in the Toblerone logo,” she laughed.
The original post was shared on Facebook on Sunday, and it wasn’t long before thousands of people said they too had never noticed the bear.
’71 Years Old, 50 Christmas’ by Toblerone and after searching the packaging I finally found the bear! Your son is brilliant! said a man.
“Never noticed… Your son is amazing,” commented another man.
“I’ll never lose sight of this, but it’s never struck me,” wrote one woman.
“Wow, hidden in full view for me for over 60 years,” said another.
Many said they thought it was just the Swiss mountains.
But several commenters revealed that the bear represents the Bernese bear because the chocolate is made in Bern, Switzerland.
“Toblerone is from Bern, Switzerland. Also known as the city of bears,” explained one helpful commenter.
Another person explained that the chocolate was made in Bern in the 1990s and that the city’s coat of arms shows a bear.
