I’m A Celeb’s Owen Warner makes a VERY confusing mistake during the process

Owen Warner left fans confused on Monday night’s episode of I’m A Celebrity… Get Me Out of Here! since he made a very blatant mistake during the Bushtucker trial.

The Hollywoods actor, 23, earned an impressive nine stars out of nine when he took on the Boiling Point Challenge, but kept repeating a certain phrase that caused confusion.

As he dives into various tunnels and rooms full of water and creatures, he keeps screaming, “Get me out of here! Get me out of this room!’

But typically celebs who yell, “I’m a star, get me out of here!” want to get off track and are quickly pulled out and left starless.

Hosts Ant McPartlin and Declan Donnelly laughed when he first started shouting the phrase after encountering a giant python in one of the rooms.

But as things progressed, Ant then exclaimed, “What did you say?” before an amused Dec added, “You’re not saying that, are you?!”

During the episode, fans took to social media and were quick to react to Owen’s mistake.

One tweeted: “Only Owen could say #ImACeleb got me out of here by mistake!”

Another puzzled fan asked, “Didn’t the celebrity previously lose all the stars (including those already collected) when they yelled, ‘I’m a celebrity, get me out of here!’ during the trial?” If so, why did @ITV change this?

The episode saw the return of the boiling point challenge with Owen to be the second candidate after this series to have participated in the process so far Chris Moyles was originally convened last week.

Chris, 48, managed to bag just one star during last week’s ordeal, with camp nominating Owen to take up the challenge this time and shouting “We’re going to eat well tonight!” as he broke the good news afterwards.

The camp was given the task of nominating someone to face the return process when Babatúndé Aleshe read a laminate: “Celebrities, today’s process is called Boiling Point: The Return. It’s up to you to decide which celebrity attends.”

Chris, who struggled with the challenge last week, joked in the Bush Telegraph: “I was dying to give Boiling Point another try because I did such a brilliant job last time… oh no that’s right, I basically had panic and ended up with a star. That was it.’

While Owen offered himself up when he told his roommates that he’s a strong swimmer and has never faced a physical test on the show.

Matt Hancock was also keen to take it on despite having had countless trials so far, but gave Owen the opportunity.

Owen admitted in the Bush Telegraph, “I wanted to do quite a physical challenge. I feel like all mine just got splattered… I’d like to do something physical.

Seann Walsh described the actor as “invincible,” as he shared: He’s not afraid of anything. They need someone to do a test, look at the abs. If you have the most, get out there.”

Admitting he had a one-track mind, Owen said: “I’m going to go in there and think about food. I guess with that attitude I can do it in less than a minute.”

Shock: As the use of the phrase continued, Ant then exclaimed,

arrival at the test site, Presenters Ant and Dec asked Owen why he chose the trial, and the star replied, “To be honest nobody else really cared about the trial. Chris didn’t actually sell that to anyone.’

Dec said: “That’s the one Chris struggled with. Do you think you can do better?’ as the soap star said he’d be fine if he “stayed cool.”

In typical I’m A Celeb style, Owen wasn’t alone in the trial as he walked into a room with two pythons in it and shared, “I didn’t even see that!”

Into another room with more snakes, Owen said, “Oh hello! Oh my days… oh stay away from me.”

He finished the process with a full house of nine stars and time left, returning to camp triumphantly shouting, “We’re going to eat well tonight!”

And while the overjoyed camp was filled with glee, a red-faced Chris said in the Bush Telegraph: “How bad do I look now, you know? One star/ all the stars ran out of time/ still had time on the clock.’

Well done! He finished the process with a full house of nine stars and time left, returned to camp triumphantly and shouted:

Producers were keen to reuse the process after Chris got away with just one star for camp earlier in the series.

During the challenge, the broadcaster struggled with his surroundings, losing his bag and the wrenches he used to unscrew the stars.

He was forced to use the last few minutes of the challenge to recover the items – but he was only able to save one of the two stars he had collected.
