1. Hope continues to cash in on John’s crimes
Tyrone is shocked when he opens the outhouse and finds that the books on John are gone.
He decides to confront Hope, who pretends that she found the books and threw them in the trash can. However, Hope later confides in Sam that she made £75 from the sale.
2. Hope is planning a tribute to her father
Hope intends to further capitalize on her father’s shame by participating in a group chat titled “Legacy of Evil” and reveals that she is planning a special tribute to her father at school the next day.
Later, Hope hides her cash box in a closet at home and steals a hammer from Tyrone’s toolbox.
The next day, Hope approaches a couple of popular 11th grade girls and invites them to a special reading of her father’s book.
3. Fiz and Tyrone make a disturbing discovery
The book’s release adds more drama when Beth shows Sally the chapter in the book about John’s affair with Rosie. When Fiz catches Sally reading the chapter, she is furious.
However, Fiz has bigger concerns when she and Tyrone find Hope’s money box and realize that Tyrone’s toolbox is missing a hammer.
Meanwhile, Hope overhears the two 11th grade girls making fun of her. She pulls the hammer out of her pocket and approaches them. Is Hope taking her obsession with John too far?
4. Sam visits Harvey in prison
Nick and Sam meet up with Karis, the presenter, before Sam meets Harvey. In the prison visiting room, Sam questions Harvey, forcing Harvey to admit that he intended to kill Leanne.
When Harvey mentions that his mother died when he was 14, Sam suggests that it throws him off balance and continues to interrogate him.
Frustrated by Sam’s awkward questions about his mother, Harvey storms out.
5. Harvey wants another meeting with Sam
It’s clear that Sam’s questions unsettled Harvey, but when he looks at Sam’s last letter, he begins to read the questions.
Later, Nick gets a call from Karis, who reveals that Harvey wants to see Sam again tomorrow.
6. Mary rejects Ken’s acting advice
With theater rehearsals underway, Mary’s acting choices raise eyebrows from everyone in attendance.
Nigel reveals to Ken that he plans to approach a friend who is an actress and suggests she could replace Mary.
To keep Mary in character, Ken, Brian, and Wendy advise Mary to tone down her performance, but she doesn’t want to hear about it.
7. Ken is shocked to be reunited with Martha
With Mary determined to play the role her way, Ken and Brian try to convince Nigel that his actress friend could give Mary some coaching instead of replacing her.
Later, Ken is shocked when Nigel introduces him to his actress friend – and it’s Ken’s ex, Martha. How will Ken react?
8. Griff’s recent actions infuriate Maria
With Griff’s racist intentions now widely known, he wastes no time in spreading more hate by revealing to Ollie, David and Spider that Maria plans to convert the community center into a place for refugees.
When Maria discovers that Griff and Spider are distributing leaflets claiming that refugees are taking over the community center at the expense of the locals, she is furious.
9. Yasmeen worries that Stu is trying too hard
When Stu worries about getting Eliza to school on time, he learns that Yasmeen and Alya are already on top of things after braiding their hair and making breakfast.
Yasmeen raises concerns when Stu pins a schedule of Eliza’s hobbies on the kitchen cupboard door. Stu announces that she won’t miss anything as she’s already had enough uproar.
10. Leanne tries to stop Debbie’s sale
After deciding to sell the bistro to solve her financial problems, Debbie points to a potential buyer.
When Nick and Leanne can’t afford to buy out Debbie’s share of the bistro, Leanne does her best to sabotage the sale.
When Debbie uncovers Leanne’s scheme, she threatens Nick and Leanne by telling them she will force the entire bistro to be sold.
