Coronation Street returns to a blast from the past this week when a journalist starts asking Fiz questions about John Stape.
The legacy of her infamous serial killer ex-husband has haunted Fiz several times in the past, including Fiz’s encounter with his villainous daughter, Jade.
Now, in scenes airing this week, Fiz is stressed out after phoning the pub to find out that Tyrone has been approached by a journalist who wants to publish an article The newspaper about her late husband.
Fiz only gets more nervous after talking to the journalist on the phone when she learns that the publication plans to publish a book about John in the paper.

She tells Tyrone about the phone call and he believes that Fiz’ ex Phil Whittaker is behind this blast from the past as he is a true crime fanatic and has always been interested in John’s case.
But is Tyrone right? Will Fiz’ personal life make headlines again?
It seems Fiz is in for an emotional week as she feels history could repeat itself with Tyrone as well.

Fiz learns that Tyrone has signed up for a taekwondo class and doesn’t think much of it at first. However, Sean reminds her that Tyrone’s affair with Alina began when he started taking yoga classes.
Alina left the show back in September 2021 but there have been hints on the ITV soap that she could be pregnant with Tyrone’s baby.
Earlier this year, Alan Halsall, who plays Tyrone, spoke about the possibility of Alina’s return, saying it would make for a good future story.

He said: “Well that’s obviously a very clever thing the writers did there to send Alina away like that and of course it leads into a future story.
“For me as an actor, it would be a great storyline.
“Would it be too soon? Probably. Maybe that could be a little later.”
Coronation Street airs Mondays, Wednesdays and Fridays at 8pm on ITV and streams on the ITV Hub.
